But as you know, it's voter season, midterms, and hundred and seventy two seats we got to vote on now

if you're from here or if you live here or even just as a model for a lot of other big cities

the real power in our city is the city council those are the the people that run the

municipalities because our here's one thing that the that the conserves got right it's a

bureaucratic nightmare because it's all different departments like there's not one guy to check in with.

Like if you're on a street corner and there's a pothole and the sidewalk's crooked, but you want to

make a covering for the bus stop and the lights out. Those are four different. And there's a lot

of trash there. That's five different

municipalities you got to tap in with with five different chains of commands. So don't get

me wrong. But the way to control all that is to be on the city council. Y'all may have heard

last year about Mr. Weezar, who's in my district, or them being recorded, talking about the blacks.

And it was sort of the Latino caucus who got caught on a hot mic, just being hell of racist.

It's really because, again, most of the power is in the city council.

So it's really hard to get a voter's guide that really is going to make a difference.
