Summary

Sunday witnessed another remarkable moment in the history of British cycling as Tao Geoghegan Hart won the Giro d'Italia for Ineos Grenadiers, seeing off Jai Hindley in the final time trial in Milan after going into Stage 21 level on time.

Tao becomes the fifth Brit to win a Grand Tour, a run started by Brad and carried on by Geraint Thomas, Chris Froome and Simon Yates. We hear the interview Tao conducted with Brad during The Breakaway after his stunning victory on the streets of Milan.

Brad and Graham reflect on a wonderful achievement for the Londoner, the relationship he has with Brad and the qualities which make him so special.

Ineos Grenadiers managed to bag GC as well as seven stages despite losing G early on in the race, with Filippo Ganna picking up the final stage to round off a stunning Grand Tour. But special praise is reserved for Rohan Dennis too after his herculean efforts to bring Tao to the title.

We look back on a quite unforgettable Giro - but let's not forget another big British talent, Hugh Carthy, who is now second on GC in the Vuelta...

We are back next weekend for the latest on the Spanish Grand Tour.

The Bradley Wiggins Show is produced by Pete Burton.

We wouldn't have expected that three weeks ago, would we?

But for the last few days, I've...

Not, maybe not, whether I don't know if I actually believed it or not.

1:08.9

I said it to him, don't stop believing.

1:12.3

I don't know where you're going to find two minutes, 57 seconds, but he did. I probably said,

1:16.3

I've been saying he can win it. I think he can win it more because I believe in him as an athlete

going forward. But if I'd have said that about any other rider from another nation when we were

summarising the GC on a certain day,

1:30.4

I probably would have said it might be a bit beyond them, but that's the fan in me, wanting him to win as well.

1:36.2

So I don't want to sort of look back five or six days where I said, I think he can win it because he's the strongest rider,

and make out, like I predicted

it from a physical pundits point of view. It was just, you know, pure fan really in wanting
