Welcome to slow more. Welcome back. My guest today is a rock star, an actual rock star who's also a very, very dear friend. She played bass with rock and metal

legends including Twisted Sister, Guns and Roses. She's the bass guitarist of White Snake

and she's now playing with Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden,

my second favorite band of all time. Used to be my very top band of all time until I got too much into Pink Floyd, but still I mean second

favorite band of all time and she's touring to play the music of John Lord of

Deep Purple across the world with Bruce Dickinson and a very large orchestra, an amazing, amazing bass guitarist.

The way we met is, let me be very clear to start.

Crying in the rain is in my top 10 songs of all time.

If you don't know crying in the rain, then you're either a little too young or you

wasted your life listening to Madonna and Modern Talking and all of that. Don't judge

you for it, but you know you could have done better. So I was listening to

crying in the rain walking through my Instagram messages as always and I found a very

articulate message actually a long message very well-ticulate message, actually a long message, very well thought from someone who

listened to my conversation with Stephen Bartlett and decided to text me about it.

So I answered back, I actually look at the profiles of everyone who

texts me so that I can establish a bit of a human connection sort of before I

answer and I was like oh that's wonderful So you run a tribute band to White Snake.

And she responded and said, no, actually I'm White Snake and I'm about to go on stage.
