with me, Al Murray and James Holland. And we're joined today by a very special guest to talk

about the Second World War and there may be events drift.

We're going to drift up with it, that's what we're going to do. We're going to drift

up with a very special style of drift. So who are we talking to today, Jim?

Well, we've got a local pala mine, Colonel Hamish De Breton Gordon, who, former

army officer, Tank Man, it has to be said, cavalryman, but then kind of

sort of merged seamlessly into being a chemical biological and radiological

annuclar weapons expert. And actually, you were the UK's joint chemical

biological, radiological annuclar regiment commander, weren't you at one point, Hamish?

That's right, it's other sort of term, was the first roll tank regiment that

we did had a dual role. I was wondering where you could hide from those three things.

It's probably inside a challenge too, isn't it? If you shut all the entrances to it?

Well, you're absolutely right, Al. It's got a very good NBC system to protect it.

But I must say my first experience in a chiefed and sat on the inner German border

in the late 80s, thinking about chemical and biological attack and everything else.

I mean, it started my mind going that actually, you know, fighting in a contaminated

environment is bonkers. And I've done everything in my life since to avoid doing that.

And just about managed, although with the Pechmurger, we were gassed by ISIS fighters

no more so in 2016, which was an experience.

Right. I should know that. Wow. I just dropped that in like that.
