Source: FBI.gov On August 23, 1992, Tammy J. Zywicki departed Evanston, Illinois, for college in Grinnell, Iowa, where she was expected to arrive that evening. Later that day, Zywicki's car was found by an Illinois State Trooper and ticketed as being abandoned. On August 24, 1992, the vehicle was towed by the Illinois State Police. On that same evening, Zywicki's mother contacted the Illinois State Police and advised them that her daughter had not arrived at college. On September 1, 1992, Zywicki's body was located along Interstate Highway 44 (I-44) in rural Lawrence County, Missouri, which is located between Springfield and Joplin, Missouri. She had been stabbed to death. Zywicki was reportedly last seen with her car (shown above) at mile marker 83 on I-80 in Central Illinois, between 3:10 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on August 23, 1992. It was also reported that a tractor/trailer was seen near Zywicki's vehicle during this time period. The driver of the tractor/trailer is described as a white male between 35 and 40 years of age, over six feet tall, with dark, bushy hair. Some of the victim's personal property is known to be missing, including a Cannon 35mm camera and a musical wrist watch. The watch is Lorus brand, with a green umbrella on its face and a green band. 0:14.5	And tonight federal agents making a passionate plea for help in hopes of bringing a killer to justice.
0:19.8	Investigators are trying to determine if a 58-year-old arrested in Waterloo this week for the
0:24.4	deaths of three women could be connected to other unsolved murders.
0:28.7	Officers say new DNA evidence tied Clark Perry Baldwin to the deaths of those three women
0:33.6	whose bodies were dumped in Wyoming and Tennessee.
0:37.1	According to court documents, Baldwin, a long-haul trucker from Iowa, also raped and choked a woman in Texas in 1991.
0:44.4	Baldwin is being held without bail at the Black Hawk County Jail.

0:50.3	So 21-year-old Tammy Zewicki eased her 1985 potty accident into the emergency lane, turned on the flashers, and got out of the car. A truck driver stopped to help. Moments later, she was gone.
1:02.2	We've never really conclusively identified where that truck was from, what truck line or truck company it was part of. And we don't even know if the truck driver was the person responsible for the kidnapping.
1:14.6	Nine days later, Tammy's body was found along Interstate 44 in southwest Missouri.
1:19.6	She had been sexually assaulted and stabbed to death.
1:22.6	And while investigators collected physical evidence at the scene, they have never been able to corral a killer. The problem with all physical evidence that you recover, whether it's DNA, a latent fingerprint,
1:33.3	you have to have a known sample to compare it to. And right now that's what we don't have.
1:38.3	Illinois State Police did not respond to our request for comment, but People Magazine reports police told them
1:43.3	the investigation is continuing
