First, let's settle in together with the sound of the bells. So, you know that voice in your head, the one that has lots of different ideas, lots of

different judgments about the situation, lots of things it wants to say to you and it wants

to say to the world. Yes, the voice within our head. Now this voice is often not a single personality. It usually has a lot of different

expressions and sometimes it can be really positive, other times it can be really negative, sometimes it could be a cranky voice,

sometimes it can sound like our parents voice, sometimes it sounds like what we would consider our authentic self.

And so I want to give you a strategy that you can use to work with these different expressions,

especially the more difficult ones.

The voices that tend to pull us down, make us feel worse, inferior, or just cranky.

And the strategy I'd like to share for working with these different voices

is to simply give them a name.

So let's start with cranky. I have a voice that I call

cranky quarry and this is the quarry that goes I don't want to do anything

today I'm tired or I'm bored or this is annoying or I want to do something else and just like child-like cranky quarry. And sometimes crankyry has a little bit of wisdom, you know.

Maybe regular Corrie has been working really hard and Cranky Corrie's coming in saying like, I don't want to do anything anymore.

So I sometimes listen to to do anything anymore.

So I sometimes listen to Cranky-Cory.

But other times cranky-Cory is just being cranky,
