| 0:00.0 | Let's not waste any time. We have a brand new episode of Klein Alley Show to share with you, so let's get into it. |
| 0:04.6 | No, Klein. First, we have to talk about San Bernardino International Airport and how they've got you covered this summer, whether you're traveling to San Francisco or Provo, Utah. What do you want? Sit in traffic on the side of the five freeway and smell that cow manure? Of course you don't. Skip the drive and fly hassle free. The San Bernardino International Airport, the only airport on the planet that we wholeheartedly recommend. |
| 0:24.0 | And it's convenient, you got low-cost parking five bucks a day. And speaking of hassle, here's another episode of Klein Alley Show. Hey, Rock. Kevin Parker, Tame Impala, in the studios. And you have, oh, you have cheese-its. You picked the loudest snack. |
| 0:37.8 | They are a loud snack. It's a loud-ass snack. If you hear any chewing going on during this chat, there's some cheese-its being munched while we chat with the great Kevin Parker from Tame Impala. Welcome to Taylor. Thanks, guys. It's my first time. When an Australian artist joins us, we get respect because in Australia |
| 0:53.8 | radio still has the utmost respect. |
| 0:56.1 | Yeah, for sure. Yeah, I mean joins us, we get respect because in Australia, radio still has the |
| 0:55.1 | utmost respect. |
| 0:56.1 | Yeah, for sure. |
| 0:57.1 | Yeah, I mean, well, it doesn't hear? |
| 0:58.5 | No, we're the bottom wrong of the entertainment ladder, and we're like a step above |
| 1:02.5 | rodeo clown. |
| 1:03.5 | But in Australia, everyone said to us, oh, you guys should move and do radio in Australia. |
| 1:06.7 | They're making like millions. |
| 1:07.5 | You guys would be millionaires. |
| 1:07.9 | Yeah, that's what they always say. Yeah, sure. That checks out. Congratulations on your fifth album, which comes out on the 17th of October. Deadbeat is finally here. That's it. We're excited. Do you have any traditions and or superstitions when you release a new album? No, not really, actually. I probably should. That would probably make me cope mentally better. but no, I just try and hold on for dear life and try and get through this very difficult time. |
| 1:33.1 | Why is it difficult? Is it second guessing yourself and mental looping? Yeah, all of the above, really. It's just, it's kind of chaos. When an album comes out, there's always just so much stuff going on. You know, amongst all of that, like your music is being sort of shown into the world. It's being unleashed on the world that has just been in your studio doors for two years, you know. Trying to take a moment to just digest that. And once it's out there, it's out there. There's no taking it back. |
| 2:01.4 | That's it. |
| 2:01.8 | That's the part that's always fascinating to me with all the leaks and everything that gets. It's so rare that an album can be released when it's intended to be released because it feels like everyone always... Right. I still have a couple of days to go. Let's hope I didn't just mush that. But... And then once it's consumed by us, people are doing with it what they will. |
| 2:20.0 | Exactly. |
| 2:20.4 | It's not yours anymore. |
| 2:21.0 | Yeah. to go. Let's hope I didn't just mush that. And then once it's consumed by us, people are doing with it what they will. It's kind of not yours anymore. Yeah, it's this process of like, it's like it's not yours anymore. You know, that's always how I feel like it doesn't belong to me anymore. It belongs to the world, which is a beautiful thing, but it's also a quite a scary thing. Now, how much acid did you do for the making of album one versus album five? |
| 2:36.6 | Is it the same amount, less, none at all? |
... |
