All right, everybody, welcome back to another edition of The Tear Down.

My name is Jeff Buck.

I'm along with my co-worker Jordan Bianchi.

We are motorsports writers for the athletic. And today we're here to talk about the Talladega

Super Speedway playoff race where Jordan, you are currently at. It looked like you had some nice

weather, no silly rain delays or moving start times or any of that worries this week.

Just worry about racing.

And I don't know.

I don't know about you, but I thought it was pretty darn good.

It was a really good tall day race.

I think this was, it's really hard to quibble with what transpired today.

And it was really nice also to be at a NASCAR race and not have to

worry about weather. I'm actually trying to remember the last time I've had a race where there

wasn't weather impacted or the threat of rain or anything like that. So it was good. I thought this

was a really a good day all around. You had your typical Talladega, you know, three wide racing.

Guys could make moves. But there wasn't a lot of big

crashes. I mean, we had a couple crashes and stuff, but nothing, you know, nothing where you're

like, oh man, why is this going down this road? We didn't have the overtimes or anything like that.

This I felt like was about what you won out of Talladega that you got it today.

Yeah, I mean, like if you buy a ticket for Talladega, you want to go there and hope for

pack racing in some form, right?

You don't want to see the single file, which obviously there was not today.
