who a long time my fan boy listeners know we're all a big fan of here at I

fan boy recently was announced that Kiran was taking over the main Star

Wars book from Jason Aaron as well as continuing on with his creator-on book that he does with Jamie McElvey, The Wicked and the Divine.

It's been a while since I've talked to Karen, so I had a nice conversation to catch up, hear about his plans for Star Wars, how he approaches it, hear about what it's like

to be on a successful creator-owned book, and we started things off talking about his hobbies.

So, Kiran, to start things off, I wanted to ask not so much about comics, but I know you've got a reputation for your relationship with music and things like that, as well as, you know, you spend some time as a computer games journalist right but I wanted to ask you

about one specific thing I've noticed on your Instagram quite recently a lot of miniature

gaming what can you tell me about these little figures that it looks like you're playing with all the time?

It's funny, I see, I sort of said me joke about this in terms of problems a completely cynical

monster, which of course I am.
