Today, efforts continue to establish diplomatic channels to end the war in the Middle East,

with Pakistan playing a pivotal

role in facilitating talks. We'll hear from Pakistan's former ambassador to the US, the UK and the

UN in a moment. First, though, within the past few hours, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament,

Mohammed Ghalibuff, has posted on social media pouring scorn on the idea that the US is pursuing

talks in good faith, accusing the United States of pretending to seek a diplomatic solution

into the conflict while preparing ground troops for an invasion. Mr Galabath said the Iranian

military was, quote, waiting for American soldiers to enter the ground so they can rain fire upon them.

Meanwhile, there's no let up in the war.

Israel says it's targeting temporary command centers in the Iranian capital Tehran.

Multiple explosions were heard in the eastern and northeastern parts of the city overnight.
