Today on Roon Soup, we once again have the pleasure of speaking to Dr. Jeffrey Cripple. Dr. Cripple holds the Jay Newton-Riser chair in philosophy and religious thought at Rice University. He is also the author of many

fine books on the topics of religion, the paranormal, Gnosticism, spirituality, and

culture. Dr Jeff, welcome back. Thanks, happy to be here, Gordon.

Oh, very, very happy to have you back.

It's sort of strange days at the moment, though, I think.

Yeah, these are very strange days. I think all of us have been been

struggling one way or another with them for sure. Yeah well it's it kind of got me

thinking it got me thinking,

uh, it got me thinking about worldviews because, as I sort of mentioned

before we hit the record button, that Dilbert comic guy who became prominent during the election

mentioned something the other day which I thought was quite interesting which is that there's now

two completely separate movies going on in America.

So the data points out there

are interpreted as completely separate

depending on which movie you happen to be watching.

And that got me thinking, thinking well we're talking about

worldviews and and who is the biggest worldview nerd I know and that was you.

Okay again happy to play that role.
