I hope what you're hearing us say today is to build it off compassion. Compassion for the kid in front of you,

compassion for the culture they find themselves in, and compassion for those who feel differently.

Christ and his church doesn't have to be afraid. We know that the gates of hell will not prevail,

and so we can have hope, and we can love our neighbor without having to be afraid.

For those of us in the church who are seeking to follow

Christ, they may feel like their struggle is unrelatable. And you go, no, we have this great

high priest who went before us and he even submitted his body to not only what felt like

death to him, but was an actual physical death, right?

So when we submit our bodies to the will of the Father, and it feels like death, we are not alone.
