John's off from the pod this week.

I'm doing a Cal Arizona basketball game on Friday night, but I wanted to get something off to you because I had the chance to fill in with a long time friend of the show John Dickinson, his new job over at K&BR, where he does Warriors post game show and a bunch of other stuff.

And I got a text from him and a text from Adam Copeland, the program director a few weeks ago that

said, do you want to fill in this week after Christmas

with JD for a few days?

And I said, yes, I knew I had nothing really as much going on this week other

than hanging out. I love hanging with JD so that was an

easy one and the benefit of it for you is that we get to talk with John Lynch and Greg Papa on Friday on

KMBR and I'm gonna play both those interviews but let's promote KMBR since

I'm using the audio. John Lynch the 49ers GM if you're not listening already he appears every

Friday morning on Cambiar at 8 a.m. and then Greg Papa the voice of the

Niners is on every day and the midday starting at 10 a.m. with our buddy John Lund so a lot of

buddies involved there but we have to talk to John Lynch about a bunch of stuff

including his history with Stingers. Brocks had a couple now and I said to him,
