to a special podcast. Someone that I'm turning the tables on. Ian O'Connor, an accomplished author

has written books about other great sports figures. Now has one about Aaron Rogers. It's called

Out of the Darkness. It came out yesterday, August 20th, today's the 21st.

It is a masterpiece into the person, the soul, the window of this unique character in sports right now.

Of course, I know Aaron from my time in Green Bay.

We were there for three years together. We got to be pretty close in those three years. So I was interviewed by Ian about this work. And I appear in the chapters about the plunge in the draft, about a chapter with Farrv, about all the confidence that the Packers front office had in Aaron throughout,

and we'll talk about that. But we'll talk about his vantage point, having interviewed over

200 and something people to talk about Aaron Rogers, and all the people who didn't interview

and why. A figure that is somewhat polarizing for reasons that I frankly am not sure exactly what goes on with that.

Anyway, Ian O'Connor has written a beautiful book about Aaron Rogers that's out now, and Ian is my guest.

And it's great to have you on the program. And I asked you before we came on, am I the first interviewee to be doing an interview with you as the interviewee in all your interviews about the book that

came out yesterday, August 20th. Is this the first time about the Aaron Rogers book? You're talking

to someone who actually you interviewed about the book. Indeed. Yes. And thanks so much for having me,

Andrew. But you were a major factor in the book.

You certainly made it better. So I'm indebted to you. And your insight was just tremendous in terms of the draft, that process, how Aaron ended up a Green Bay Packer, then the transition to Aaron from Farrb.

And I know you had left the organization, but you still had a lot of insight into how that went down.

And just you saw the talent of Aaron.
