Anyway, what we will talk about today? We're going to talk about the struggles of returning from the

biweek. We will hear my interview with Brett Connolly, and we will talk about the player of the

the caps absolutely need more from.

First, let's start with the buy week. The cats have lost three straight after the buy and are trying to get back on track.

You may not think that a buy week would be a bad thing for a team's momentum, but Barry Trots explained in practice why it's harder to return to the ice than you may think.

The last couple of years with the breaks in that you understand that it is, it's not just, hey, you know, you had a break that you should be fresh. You go on the ice.

Unless you've played the game, it's hard to explain to people. You're just, you've got to get it ramped up.

You lose a little bit of that edge,

a little bit of that, you know, the sharpness. You lose a little bit of everything. And then

when it's over 20 guys, then, you know, all of a sudden, it's difficult. I think everybody

likes routine. I think we're better with routine. I think when you don't have that routine, you lose focus because it's, you know,

you're like, okay, we don't play for five days and you sort of shut it down a little bit.
