This week we are speaking to the one and only George P. Hansen.

As most of you probably know, George is a paracycologist, researcher, and author of the much admired sigh Classic, the Trickster and the paranormal.

George, thank you very much for your time.

Well, thank you for having me.

All right, all right.

Traditional question one then, Mr. Hansen, were you a weird kid?

No, I was not a weird kid.

I was a nerdy kid, but not a weird kid.

I built telegraphs and radios, did chemistry experiments and play chess,

but really no weird stuff.

Yeah, that's, nerdy is a good description for that if you're if you're building

telegraphs and have chemistry sets that's that's the right way to

describe it that's interesting then I mean I guess you can kind of see a personality type

That moves into the paranormal I just think because I had Dr Dean Radon on recently and he had a similar interest in sort of building things from like a

mechanics perspective although and he also did music which is very mathematically

inclined so there's something about a lean towards quantifiability that is underpinning paranormalists?

Well, perhaps at least in the research end of the paranormal lab research in particular is

pretty quantitative in some sense yeah sure so I mean how does one go from

chess club to a paranormal researcher. Were there any events that happened that triggered

it personally in your life or was it intellectual interest?
