43 degrees south on a small farm in deepest Tasmania.

My name is Gordon and I shall be your host.

Now, I know I promised a solo show on my experiences so far with this 53,000 hectare fire encircling the farm,

but a few hours ago it occurred to me there might be a way of

framing the experience in such a fashion that it might be more useful or at least magically interesting.

So with very little notice and coming off another podcast recording, Austin agreed to pull

a chart together for Tasmania and we use an analysis of that as a frame for discussing my experiences so far.

It's not technical, I mean how could it be if I'm involved, but for you

astronauts out there, the Aries and Libra Ingress charts for Hobart, as well as the

base chart we drew up for Tasmania, are all in the show notes with Austin's commentary for you to space math your

little hearts out with. Before we begin, you have probably already worked out that I am not

recording in my usual office, nor Kura if I wanted to because all the roads are closed.

I'm staying at a friend's place on the other side of the Huon River from the fires while he's on holiday,

and while I'm very grateful to be making use of his lovely

home his lovely home is also very echoy. It's basically one of those big fancy one-room hard hardwood floor, sort of Swedish-ish coastal deals.
