Lonella! Welcome, welcome listeners to the X-R-H. This is part two of our bumper catch-up episode. So we've just been speaking about coronavirus in part one and got all sad.

And now we're going to talk about where it all went wrong for Potachino's Tottenham and Jose

Marino's Tottenham. So there was a really, I thought, interesting article from Daniel's story for

I News on this. There was one particular paragraph which I very much enjoy, which I'll read out now.

At the last count, they have the sixth highest revenue in the Premier League and the seventh

highest wage bill. Marizio Potitino's greatest trick was persuading supporters that they had any

right to dance in such elevated company because the suit was rented and the hotel booked on credit

card. The Premier League's Cinderella Club is being forced to listen to the first chimes of midnight.

Not only is that a lovely piece of writing,

but I found it quite profound in the point it was trying to get across,

that actually spurs are sixth or seventh in terms of revenue and wage bills.

And Potch had us overachieving for the majority of his tenure.

And to follow up on this as well, I've noticed that in the recent weeks, Alistair Gold has

written a piece for Football London. Alistair, who is a fantastic kind of beat reporter for

Tottenham, has written some thoughts on the rapid decline of Tottenham Hotspur and exactly who is to

blame as he calls his piece. And I wrote a couple of months ago a piece called The Blame Game

on my blog, which is windycoys.com, if you're interested in reading it, where I kind of tried

to get to the crux of who I think is to blame. And we've not really got over this in terms of where it's all

gone wrong and who we should be looking at and pointing fingers at the most. I think most fans like

pointing the finger at Daniel Levy because it's easy. And I think when you kind of go micro

and start taking things decision by decision by decision, it's easy to kind of get wrapped up in
