The CDC updated mask guidelines to allow vaccinated people to congregate without masks,

both outdoors and indoors.

The FDA and CDC have also authorized the Pfizer vaccine for use in children aged 12 to 15.

Doctors and scientists reported a breakthrough in treating children with severe combined

immunodeficiency, otherwise known as the bubble baby disease, because it forces children

to live in a bubble or risk infections.

They used a disabled version of the virus that causes HIV to deliver genetically modified

immune cells to the child's body.
