Duke gets past St. John's.

What a second half performance by the Blue Devils, Camboozer, Isaiah Evans, Caleb Foster, and company setting up a mouth-watering regional final tomorrow against the Connecticut Huskies.

Joining us right now to break it all down, friend of the show, expert college basketball host and analyst for our friends at the field of 68, the great John Martin on social media at John Martin 929.

Great day, but it's a bittersweet day because, you know, we're whittling this thing down.

So that's kind of sad and melancholy, but the basketball is elite.

So it's going to be a hell of a day.

I will feel melancholy for sure, like tomorrow night, knowing that there's only three games left in the college basketball season. And why don't we start, John? I get seasonal depression. I'm not joking. I get seasonal depression when the college basketball season ends. Well, I think the good news, NFL draft season, though. It's NFL draft season coming up now. Yeah, I'm a Raider fan. So that is, it's not as exciting as it should have been because the Ravens are complete cowards. And have, no one should ever do a deal with them ever again with the way they do business. But yeah, I mean, we know we're doing it number one. So there's not a whole lot of drama for me in the draft.

So I guess I get NBA playoffs, but, you know, that's about it. Yeah, the NBA playoffs, I do think for whatever it's worth, they're going to be awesome. And so, too, is this weekend, John, in the NCAA tournament. And before we preview Duke Yukon and the rest of the games coming up this weekend, and let's do a little recap.

And your thoughts on Duke's win last night over St. John's,

I started the show saying, I think Duke's going to win the title now that Duke's fully healthy again. Where do you come down right now, John, on the Duke Blue Devils following last night's win? Yeah, I mean, I think that's just what the national media needs, right? Is another voice glazing the Duke Blue Devils? I mean, I don't think we have enough of that, you know, around the country. To be fair, John, to be fair, and I said this to start the show. And I think that's a fair critique and criticism that you lob at me. I am a Queens guy. I would have loved for St. John's to win. I bet Arizona to win the tournament. I don't want Duke to win, but I get paid to keep it real, to give my opinion, what I think's going to happen. I think they're the best team when they're fully healthy, and now they're fully healthy. I don't want this to beat the truth, but I think it is the truth.

Yeah, I mean, it's pretty shocking that Caleb Foster not only came back but played the amount of minutes that he played, pretty, pretty sickening.

You know, the only thing I would say about Duke is obviously when you have Camboozer, I think whether that's college basketball, whether that's his next NBA team, he's a floor raiser, right?

Like the way I kind of call it is just like a competitive

competence that sounds like a little derogatory but i don't mean it in that way like i

think he just brings such a pedigree to whatever program or team he's a part of that um you're you're

going to be a second weekend team with him you know you're going to make the elite eight with him

um with that being said,
