to Penn State football nine days away as we record on a Thursday morning from the

Nittany Lions opener in Beaver Stadium against Idaho.

The final day of August.

We've learned some things about Penn State football.

We're still waiting for some more answers.

We'll get into some of the takeaways from the most recent practice session which Sean and Mark Brennan were at and we'll bring in Sean Fitz now.

Line 24-7 podcast, Sean, we've been talking about it for weeks

about the possibility of starters being named and not being named but we're going to

start today's show addressing an exit and an interesting one at that John Petriition a

fifth year senior on Penn State's football program,

actually still has two years of eligibility due to some medical setbacks during his

career, shared on Wednesday or Tuesday evening that he would be officially exiting the

Nittany Lions football program we first reported you yourself put up on the site

to start a training camp that he would be entering the transfer portal and exploring that option.

He confirms he will be leaving and then, you know, I think about 12 hours later or so,

Patton Arduzzi over in Pittsburgh, head coach of the Panthers confirms that Johnny

Patrician will be joining their program. So health-wise I don't know where

he's going to be on the field for them this year. He seemed to say that he's

still recovering. Not sure if he'll have any kind of role when this team comes to Beaver Stadium.

But to say the least, we're about what, four weeks away from Pittsburgh making that trip.
