Welcome to this cinematic revisiting episode of Talking Lamar. In this episode, I'm looking back at some movies that I loved and some not so much. Let's get to it.

It's Talking Lamar. I'll start with

Ice Road Vengeance. Certainly not one of Liam Neeson's best efforts. I hope he got a nice

lake house or maybe a beach condo out of it. Now, there is an Ice Road movie that starred

Liam Neeson as Mike also on Netflix.

So this, as you know, is Ice Road Vengeance.

So you automatically might think, well, this is a sequel to the first Ice Road.

Well, you would be wrong because it seems this one has absolutely nothing to do with the other one.

And you certainly don't have to see the first ice road to watch this.

And after watching this, I definitely would not recommend it.

Liam Neeson, over his career, has been a tremendous dramatic actor and continues to do so. But after

Taken made so much money in 2008, studios just could not get enough. They couldn't wait to put

someone in distress and send Neeson after them in the most violent way possible. They managed to squeeze two more taken sequels out,

each one of those worse than the other,

and then it finally died as a TV series.

Now, that didn't stop studios from finding ways.

They gave him over the period of time,

they gave him amnesia,

they put him in a plane crash, they sent him to fight wolves in the snow they put him in another plane with terrorists they made him a hitman twice

a snowplow driver hunting drug dealers that killed his son they put him on a train then they put him on an
