It also means we will move right along to question number one.

Mallory, were you a weird kid?

You know, I was a smart kid in a small town,

so it didn't really matter whether I was getting abducted by

aliens or seeing ghosts I was going to be other pretty much instantly because of

that I was an avid reader. I much preferred talking to adults than other

children and then on top of that I was also starting to have mystical experiences at a very young age.

So actually one of my first memories is of being in the living room with my father while he was watching a movie and all of a sudden

the room started to fill up with other people.

And there were really too many of them to count. And that was I think how my

brain sort of slipped into this mode of knowing that they weren't physically there,

they weren't materially there, but they were there nonetheless.

And there were way too many of them to, you know, be able to see what they were wearing or

know what their names were, but in much the same way that in a dream you might start to download

the exposition at the same time that you're experiencing the plot.
