I'm really excited about it, actually, I've gotten to talk to my guest a little bit,

and he's a big Iowa State fan, an Iowa State graduate,

and he can also help us all kind of

understand things during a really weird time you've heard me over the years tell you

to be a man go to the doctor my promotions for the Iowa Clinic, and I, you know, I don't think that that could ever be more important than now.

And I want to welcome Dr. Eric Donnells to the program today and first of all Doc

Congratulations on being a doctor with an Iowa State degree

Got much respect for everybody in the medical field but you're my that's that's the best kind of doctor when you're still a cyclone fan so congratulations on that.

You real quick give us your background because you kind of told me a little bit about it so much so that I want to have Rob Gray call and maybe do a feature on this but you're so your grandfather based off of what you've told me he

created the cyclone club is that or the grid iron club or what will give me the

details here it's fascinating yeah Yeah so my great grandfather Ray Donalds was head football coach in the 1940s and after his time

as football coach he worked in recruiting and then subsequently formed what was a booster club for Iowa State back then, what is now known as the Cyclone Club.

And he would drive around the state recruiting people for the Cyclone club as a booster

club for I would stand athletics.

Subsequently, there's a contest on campus to come up with a mascot for Iowa

states where people submitted recommendations for a mascot and he was actually the one who determined from the

choices, Cy as the mascot of Iowa State.

That's incredible.

What a cool legacy that your family has and I can totally see why you ended up going to Iowa State on your way to becoming a doctor.
