So, uh, Tasmania to Svalbard, this has got to be a bit of a podcasting record for the alternate community.

We're really covering the earth here.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, you're in the Arctic and Tasmania for people who don't know is technically in the Antarctic because

the state owns a few outlying islands that are, you know, in the Antarctic circles. so there we go no no Norway owns much

more of Antarctica but we are not in the Antarctic so you can't use that but but are you

south of New Zealand yes

uh... quite the feet man yes it is and it's southern Tasmania so there's a bit more

new zealand further south uh... but tas Tasmania has some islands in the Antarctic Circle and

Hobart which is the state capital is the sort of unofficial capital of Antarctica

because it has more Antarctic scientists than anywhere else on Earth.
