my old partners in crime it's so good to be with you guys uh clay you were desperately missed

uh at the auction table this year and we got my partner james anderson uh who stepped in and did a

fine job as far as i'm concerned and i'm'm excited to talk about this auction. It was a

unique experience for sure. Yeah, I mean, I've enjoyed my time, but I thought James,

you know, more than deserving of that spotlight, I think he's the best fantasy player at

Rodewire. So I'm glad he's getting his feet wet in labor. James, how did you find the experience

in your first go around at the AL labor table? Met in labor. James, how did you find the experience in your first go around at the

AL labor table? Metaphorical. It wasn't live. I mean, it was one of the funnest nights I've

had. Ian called me like five minutes before the auction started and it was just kind of surreal talking to the the record setting champ

from last year like right before things were getting going and you know I just have so much respect

for all the people in this league and everything that they've accomplished and it was just a real

honor to be a part of it that's awesome, man. Yeah, congrats on your first year of labor in the books. Looking forward to seeing how you do. And Ian, yeah, your year last year was really something else. You blew the field away by, what, 30 some points, the road-off points. Yeah, I think I... That's on a great year.

I think I ended with 110.5 and Schechter ended with 86.

So yeah, out of 120, it was about...

I actually went back and looked at the auction from last year and sort of saw what the numbers were.

And I just got lucky.

I mean, I just, I picked everybody. Everybody I picked except for Renato Nunez was a win. You know, Robbie Ray for four bucks. Cedric Mullins for three bucks. I mean, just all the way up and down the line. So it won't happen like that again. I know that. And it was, but it was, yeah, it was sort of a charmed year.

I kidded with my wife at the end of the season.

I was like, I think I could retire right now. Like, let's call it. And she was like, what? I was like, I'm never going to do better. Like, I know that. And she said, yeah, but you enjoy it. And I was like, I do. I enjoy it a lot. So I get to keep playing the game with the best in the game.
