Howdy, howdy, howdy, and welcome to episode number 936 of the Potter's cast. Welcome to the show. I am so stoked we're hanging

0:24.7

together today because I've got this really cool artist that's coming on the show today, Marissa

0:29.7

Childers, and she is absolutely stunning in her work that she does. She's an Enseka emerging artist this year, and what we talk about in today's conversation

0:44.4

is about the idea of taking advantage of success.

I remember this deal back in the day of when people would go on to these specific shows. I remember

0:56.8

specifically going on the Oprah Winfrey show that there was this huge in rush of recognition that this

1:07.6

person would get attention that they would get. It would be like a flash in the pan.

1:17.7

1:47.8

successes. So it was a stepping stone, not just a flash in the pan. And so we talk about this

1:54.3

idea in this episode about taking chances without being reckless, for instance, and how to avoid having just, everything being just good enough, and putting yourself out there.

2:09.6

And I feel like it's such an important thing for us to examine this idea about how to go from one success to the next and not resting

2:21.0

on yesterday. But having something for tomorrow to look forward to. So that's kind of in a nutshell,

2:28.9

maybe a little bit exaggerated, but at least in a nutshell what we talked about.

2:39.8

So let's jump in this conversation I had with Marissa Childers right after this work from our sponsor.
