Number one, if your kid has disordered eating or an eating disorder, it is not your fault as parents.

I think there is this guilt that we have when we're experiencing that.

There's not, but there's actually a lot that we can do to decrease the risk.

And the real problem is that we live in diet culture.

And diet culture is normalized.

I mean, we all do it between friends.

And all diet culture really means is that we value

thinness and appearance over anything else.
