Final practice of the week before the Cowboys' third

preseason game against the Houston Texans at AT&T Stadium on Saturday night. Rob Phillips,

Mickey Spagnola, Brian brought us right down yonder. Bill Jones might be joining us again today.

He's got some TV duties to attend to.

Cowboys starting to trickle on to the practice field here for, like I said,

it's the third open practice of the week and their last prep,

if you want to call it prep for the preseason game against Houston.

First, though, a somber feeling among the Cowboys organization,

the Cowboys family this morning as former Cowboys quarterback and current play-by-play man,

Babe Lofenberg's son, Luke, passed away after a courageous fight with cancer. Just awful news that Babe announced today and that word has gotten through the Cowboys family.

Just a tough moment right now.

You know, guys, it's never easy.
