A Netflix documentary that hits home is out, just came out a couple of days ago it's called gone girls and it's

the long island serial killer the gilgo beach murders that we know has turned into the arrest and

charging of rex heerman and i mean it even though this story's been going on since in fact since 2010 i

i still because i grew up on long island and I grew up on the South Shore and I know

Ocean Parkway and I know these guys.

You know, I mean, Ray Tierney, the DA who's prosecuting Rex Heerman, was, I was sitting

next to him at your event at Tellers.

And he was the one that relaunched this whole thing.

Absolutely. And he was the one that relaunched this whole thing. Yes, he did when he got in there, absolutely.

And people forget that, that this thing had gone nowhere, got stalled over and over and over again.

There were all sorts of police conspiracies around it, anything else.

He gets elected, and the next thing you know, it leads to this arrest.

It does.

And our buddy, Steve Ballone, who was the Suffolk County executive at that point is in there and he's all over this thing. So I mean, it's just, it's so local and it's it's just hits home so much

and watching it. Now, I still have a couple more episodes to go. So we'll talk more about it as I

continue to to watch. But, you know, one of the things that I started to learn at the end of this episode is how they did have.

You know, and this is something that all those other documentaries where they didn't know who this guy was,

and this is something that the police, I believe, you know, had held back and trying to find the guy because they didn't want this information out there.
