This is Baseball Tonight, the podcast.

This is the Baseball Tonight podcast for Wednesday, September 10th, 2025, and today will be better

than yesterday.

15 years ago, I began saying that phrase, and today it'll be better than yesterday,

after my little sister Amelia was diagnosed with leukemia in the hope of moving forward.

And today, she celebrates another birthday, thanks to the great people doing amazing things at Dartmouth and in Mass General.

And we say it on the podcast now, Taylor, for Sarah Lange.

Did you see the great picture of Sarah hanging out in Detroit yesterday, hanging out with Terrick Schuble? No, how did I miss this? I'd want me all over. Because I like to bring her exploits like this to light because she likes to hide them. And I can't believe this one slipped by me. I'm going to pull it up right now. What was she up to? She was hanging out with Jason Benetti, our friend and, of course, the play-by-play man for the Detroit Tigers and her partner, Matt, they were there having a conversation. You see Scoobel laughing. It's pretty cool because Scoobel's a great dude. And I'm sure that he had a lot of fun. Oh my God. Yeah. Scoobel. Excellent, dude. And Sarah, let me, let me correct myself.

The Tigers, of course, are in Yankee Stadium. And Sarah lives in the greater New York area.

So she came down to Yankee Stadium for the game. All right. This takes less of the surprise

out of it for me. But I'm looking at the picture right now. Everyone is having a, like there's

smiles across the board, four for four smiles, including Terrick Scooball. And the biggest smile is Sarah Langs, of course. So, I mean, what a, what an excellent day for her. Love that. Yeah, that's, that's really neat. And, uh, again, shout out to all the players in recent years who have, uh, reached out to Sarah too. It's really see her connection with baseball.

And, you know, it just makes you happy every time you see it.

And how could you not smile when you're around Sarah?
