Why does God make himself known to some people and not others? I prayed for so many years for God to make himself known to me and to give me peace, to let me know that he's there and he loves me and that I was on the right path. I have a very vivid memory of doing this as young as the age of eight. And I throughout my life, I continue to serve God and do what he would have wanted, all the while receiving no peace and no

comfort and no love, no matter how tough the times were. Meanwhile, friends and family were feeling

God's love every week at church. Unfortunately, my experience is not unique. I've heard many others

have the same experience, the lack of love and comfort. According to many Christian doctrines,

God is our father and is all loving. So why the lack

of acknowledgement and love? If my child needed me, I'd move heaven and earth to be there for them.

But God can't manage to send a little comfort and love? If you can explain this mystery,
