I took this from a terrible Twitter apologist who claimed it was one of the verses atheists don't quote.

Ezekiel 3311, say to them, as surely as I live, declares the sovereign lord.

I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live.

Turn, turn from your evil ways.

Why will you die, people of Israel?

God doesn't want to kill us, he just has to, because we won't obey him.

What an evil monster.

I don't want to beat you, kids, but you're making me do it.

This is the language of an abuser, and people excuse this as

justice. This is neither justice, no justified. You are a victim of God, and making excuses for

his abuse. Special pleading for a vile creature, when in any other circumstances you would

condemn the actions of that creature.

I feel sadness and compassion for theists that defend this behavior, and I am entirely confused why anyone would think atheists won't quote this.

It demonstrates that God is an abuser. The Bible is the gift that keeps on giving when you're trying to demonstrate God is an ethical monster.
