Let’s get to calls. The first caller is Malcolm from California. He claims HIS interpretation of the Bible is the most correct and accurate. Ok, Malcolm… show your work, prove it!
Next up, Adi from Indonesia would like to talk about how when he was addicted to drugs and sent to prison, he found God through prayer. Zod cuts to the quick and suggests that while it was good he found a way out of drugs, it doesn’t necessarily prove a God exists. Adi, take credit for the hard work you put in to get rid of your addiction, you deserve it more than any God or Jesus.
Hadi in North Carolina is calling back, having done some additional research and he wanted to call with his findings. He’d also like to talk about maximals and the problems with a maximally powerful God. Except we need to be able to prove this God within our physical universe and there also needs to be sufficient evidence to prove this God. Sadly, there isn’t a God-ometer to sniff out a God or Gods.
Oh, you’ll love this… It’s Marlon in the Philippines again! This time he is calling in about how ancient nephilim are real! Eric stops him before he can get too far about how he gets this “truth” and evidence he has found. Spoiler alert, it’s all on the internet!
Next up, Malachi in Ohio is wondering if Zod has heard of any prophecies about COVID and the protests. Zod responds, and Eric also says if there were prophecies, why weren’t they shared? And if they were shared, it’s likely they were a response to what everyone already knew.
Afterwards we have Eli from Oklahoma. He called in February about the phases he experienced while leaving religion. This is a really great update call, he also finished his interviews and training with RFR! http://www.RecoveringFromReligion.org Congrats dude!
Anjur in Germany is up next calling in to ask does evolution disprove God? He poses the idea that a “day” in God’s terms were different and could be even a million years. The conversation moves on to life coming from water. Seems like stretching or bending the truth to fit the narrative to me.
Our last caller of the day, Mark in Canada wonders, how do you explain the concept of morality without God and where it doesn’t become social darwinism? Sadly, his connection is really REALLY bad and we do our best to get to the synopsis of his call. Zod hones in on it and gives a fantastic reply to this.
