I've been reading about not only Afghanistan, but but Vietnam and then Iraq and Libya and the rest of it. And we have this desired adventure in and and metal or fix things or boot people out of power.

But then when it comes to the brutality of actually executing those policies, we blanch we we shy away. We recoil and in horror.

And it's just it's it's this weird half-assiveness. Well, nobody's ever tried to do this in the history of the world. Everybody else has been an actual expansionist empire and we haven't been.

We try to like settle places down because we think it's in our best interest, but we don't really want to hurt anybody or get too pushy less. We be called imperialists or something like that.

And it doesn't work. It doesn't seem to work. I mean, we're the only country that's ever tried to do this. I wonder if maybe the world would be better off if we just rolled into various places the way like Great Britain did or Rome or whoever.
