For tonight, we have two tales for you about the complicated dance between loneliness and companionship.

Our first story for the evening comes from Calvin Demmer.

Calvin Demmer is a South African author of horror, dark fantasy, science fiction, and crime.

His books include the Flash Fiction Collection, The Sea Was a Fair Master, and the short-story

collections, dark celebrations, her heart beats for ancient beasts, and, through the ravenous

night we ride. When not writing, he is intrigued by that which goes bump in the night,

and the sciences of our universe.
