As I mentioned previously, we've got a handful of new things simmering away in the cauldron for you this year,

the first of which you can now get your claws into, our special submissions period for Women in Horror Month.

While we've got a few months to go yet, before we take some dedicated time out to celebrate the unique and indelible contributions women have made in our genre,

we're on the hunt for some very special tales to help us make it

a memorable month. Specifically, we're looking for horrific tales from never before published

women and women identifying writers. So if you've got some frightening flash fiction, up to

2000 words, and have yet to add a publishing credit to

your resume, this may be just the opportunity you've been waiting for. Plus, to sweeten the deal,

we're offering our standard pay rate, which doesn't usually apply to flash fiction.
