This is Tales to Terrify. Good evening, children of the night, and welcome. To start off, a little update on Stoker Con, and more specifically, the Bram Stoker Awards.

Sounds like the event had a great turnout, and honestly I'm a little jealous I wasn't able to attend in person.

San Diego next year, though, look out, I'm going to try my best, fingers crossed.

The Bramstoker Awards honored some pretty spectacular gems last weekend, too.

With Gabino Iglesiasis, The Devil Takes You Home, and our good friend, Christy Nogles,

Bula, taking home the awards in the best novel

and best first novel categories, respectively.

In short fiction, Mercedes M. Yardley took home the hardware for her tail fracture,

from the Mother Tales of Love and Terror anthology.

You can look forward to hearing that,

and all the other frighteningly fantastic Stoker-nominated

short fiction tales sometime later next month.

Congratulations to all the winners and nominees this year.

There were truly some amazing, terrifying tales on the list, and it made my To Be Red pile
