This is Tales to Terrify. Good evening, children of the night, and welcome.

I'm not sure what it's like in your neck of the woods, but this week is the first full week of above-freezing weather we've had.

And as much as I love the comfort of the dark, the gradually increasing daylight feels particularly welcome this year.

I also feel the need to rub it in, just a a little that I happen to live in one of the few places that doesn't have to endure the horrors of switching on and off of daylight savings

time. And with the spring equinox just around the corner, this Sunday, in fact,

it's a time commonly associated with birth, rejuvenation, and all things happy and bright.

Not really the most fitting season for horror.

Interestingly, though, the Spring Equinox has also been associated with inducing literal March Madness, which has nothing to do with basketball, and even the opening of portals into

hell. I guess even the bright and cheerful advent of spring is still fraught with a much darker side.

Speaking of all things good and bright, the topic we tend to shy away from being a horror

podcast and all, I have to say, I'm absolutely blown away after last week's call for support.

To be honest, I always feel a little awkward putting it out there.

Requesting support, especially since making a buck isn't at all why we do this.

On the other hand, a financial support is also necessary to keep the show running, and especially

growing. So, when I say I can't thank you enough to our new patrons, I truly mean it. Some amazing
