skeletons out of your closet, your inner demons

come out to play, and give that shadow that's been following you around its moment in the spotlight.

This week, we're back on the road again, traveling to the southeastern edge of the Canadian

Rocky Mountains.

Crow's Nest Pass is a beautiful little area that straddles the boundary between the provinces

of British Columbia and Alberta, not far from the Montana border. It's an area with a rich

and turbulent history, much of which comes from deep underground, from the bones of ancient civilizations

found embedded deep in the soil, bones that make it the richest archaeological site in the

Canadian Rockies, I'd add,

to the hundreds of comparatively new remains that have been claimed by the earth through

numerous mining disasters. In Crowsnest Pass, it seems, death is never far below the surface.
