Well, it's been another crazy week.

I don't know about you, but I keep feeling like life should be simpler,

that I should have more of a lack of stuff to do while stuck at home.

But I find the days always end up full,

even if I can't always account for what I've done,

or if I've even really accomplished anything.

This week, here in my hometown of Saskatoon, finally saw the first real emergence of spring.

We went from knee-high snow in the front yard last weekend to totally clear and mostly dry

about mid-week. As much as I enjoy working in the dungeon that is my

home office and studio, being able to go outside and enjoy some sunshine sure makes a big difference.

And I finally had a chance this week to spend some meaningful time outside. Set up the hammock and spent a while reading in the yard.

And aside from getting my very first sunburn of the year,

yeah, apparently I was not at all prepared.

It was glorious.

We're just about to get into yard cleanup season in this part of the world.
