This week, our meandering tour of state scares takes us through the winding, wooded

countryside of rural Kentucky, our destination, the town of Marion, and a little place called Pilot Knob Cemetery.

Like any other small town, that Marion, Kentucky has its own little graveyard is no surprise.

Most small towns do.

But ask for directions on your way into town, and you'll quickly start to get the sense that Pilot Knob

Cemetery isn't your average small-town cemetery. People around Marion seem hesitant to even speak about it,

and the few who do, well, they're more likely to warn you to turn back than go out of their way

to help you get there.

It seems the darkness that resides in Pilot Knob Cemetery has a firm grip on the local population.
