I recently watched two Iranian films.

The classic film, The Cow, which, although does involve madness, probably doesn't qualify as horror.

I'll also let you know that, although I did grasp why it was a prize-winning film, it was also one of the first films in a long time that I fell asleep during. The other Iranian film, on the

other hand, a girl walks home alone at night, was much more engaging, even with its lengthy, silent

shots. The film is tagged as the first Iranian vampire

Western. The film is atmospheric and strange and has a rather low body count for a horror film,

especially one involving vampires. I'd recommend this one to anyone that can stand a bit of

slow pacing. Oh, and as a bit of a personal note,

this episode should be airing right about the time I'm getting back from a week at Disney World,
