For the last two weeks, as we've journeyed south, we've heard about killings, killings, and more killings. This week will be devoid of any deaths whatsoever. Unless you count the billions of human deaths that will occur in the near future, as is forecasted by all but the most hopeful of speculative fiction. Our first stop in Georgia is not very horrific, but it is mysterious and

In June 1979, a man introduces himself to the staff of Alberton Granite finishing as Robert C. Christian, representing a small group of loyal Americans.

This group had been planning a monument and wanting it constructed in Alberton because he felt that it produced the finest granite in the whole world over.

Joe Fenley, the president of Alberton Granite, was shocked to hear what Christian was asking for,
