situated. Oh, you notice a heap of metal out front that used to be a Ford Fiesta? Well, yes,

that used to be mine. Recently, due to bad luck, far too good of a Saturday night, or just because of the,

shall we say, interesting choices Virginia drivers sometimes make

that car died. However, aside from having a banged up wrist and shoulder, life will go on,

albeit with a bit of pain for a while. The shoulder still is quite painful, so forgive me

if I fail to edit out any grunts or groans.

We have some fiction for you this evening, and we will then be hearing from our old friend

Sylvia Schultz with another edition of Lights Out.

Our story will be from two authors from down under, Felicity Docker and Alan Baxter, both of which

we have heard from in episodes previous.

Alan Baxter is a British Australian author who writes dark fantasy, horror, and sci-fi,

rides a motorcycle, and loves his dog.

He also teaches Kung Fu.

He lives among dairy paddocks on the beautiful south coast of New South Wales, Australia,

with his wife, son, dog, and cat.
