Like its more “Fantastic” brethren, the series doesn’t require that the games be played together or in order, so even as the tenth title of sixteen (or so), Tales of Vesperia serves as a perfect jumping-off point as the first on the seventh generation of consoles and the only entry on a Microsoft platform.
