And welcome to this week's episode where we are finally getting to talk all about Tales of the Underworld, which was the latest in the anthology series, these little vignette stories. We had tales of

the Jedi, tales of the empire, and now we have tales of the underworld. And it's been out for a while,

but we've been a little busy. But we're here to talk about it now. It is funny because this

was a May the fourth release, which is so lovely.

I love when they do this.

And I feel like it got a little lost in the shuffle, not just with us, but with the way people were talking about this.

And I'm just here to say, I think that having these little tales vignettes, these six episodes of Star Wars animation, like never

looking better. We are so lucky that we have this exploration because this, to me, the Tales

series encapsulates what everyone was so excited for when Disney Plus became a thing.

Yeah.

That, you know, we've talked about it for the past year on the show,

especially when we were talking about skeleton crew around Star Wars and how with Disney Plus

and just Disney saying that they were going to make a lot of new Star Wars that we were hoping

for more of a

clear-cut genre exploration. I don't think that Tails is a clear-cut genre exploration,

but it is an exploration into a corner of Star Wars that I just don't think would have

ever gotten the attention that it gets now way back back when we're so lucky that we have these

stories whether you like them or you don't like they exist and it's so cool it's just and the way

that tales of the Jedi started as a Dave Faloni back of a napkin flying back and forth

from San Francisco to Los Angeles passion project is the coolest thing ever.

And I don't want anyone to take that for granted because it is so cool.
