No, we didn't. That's so true. We did not. We won governerships and legislative races and we did all kinds of good things and a lot of fun and it's so nice to see you and it's nice to be able to

talk about your success as someone who's been inside the room where it happened and and be a part of America's story and history in the way that you served both presidents and the country.

And I just find that very, very compelling. You've got a new book out which we're going to get into White House Usher story story. I mean, sorry White House Usher is who killed the president stories from the inside is the first book.

But the latest is who killed the president. But let's start at the beginning because that's always a good place to sort of give people a feel for Chris Emory and your narrative.

You were White House Usher, which is a job that a lot of people don't know exists. Right.

Tell us about that part of your story, how you became an usher, what is a White House Usher?

You know, and how does it all kind of weave itself in and out of the story of presidents?

Well, absolutely. And Michael, I, you know, I realized this the other day. And I don't know what made me think of it. But I am a real White House insider.

Yes, you are more so than anybody else that says they are, which hopefully after this, you'll everyone will understand why.

But the Usher's office is a very unique rare office that's in the inside the White House. It's been around for almost 200 years. And it is actually the management office for the White House, the home of the first family.

And the 18 acres of grounds that surround the house. And the Usher's are there to primarily make that that building feel like a home to the first family.
