We got into Ginger Jesus making a Super Bowl and other things that we didn't think we'd live to see.

But the MHSAA has approved NIL for high schools. I leave it to you. I'm not going

to feign outrage. I could say something's a bad idea or it's stupid. It doesn't impact me.

But if I were a coach, if I'm an administrator, or if I'm a parent, I just, it feels like we have,

we are redefining the bottom of the chili pot with every decision as it pertains to youth sports,

college down.

Hey, guys. All right. So I come with an optimistic take on this thing. Okay. So high school football

coach in Plymouth Canton, counselor, yada yada. So, I mean, this whole thing was inevitable, right?

This was going to happen.

And here's my optimistic spin on this thing.

Okay, so we lose kids to private schools all day, every day, all our best kids from our community.

Not all our best, many of our best.

Now, if a community really wants to buy in to their school sports programs, you know,

who's to say that Cadillac of Plymouth can't sponsor little Jimmy and, you know, throw him a quick 10 Gs a year to be doing commercials for him. And now we keep that kid in Plymouth, and he doesn't go to C.C. You know, just little things like that give me a little hope with this that it's not just going to ruin everything. All right.
