0:08.6	Hey it's Antrice from the Savvy Painter Podcast and my guest this week is Theresa Ohaka and this is also our first ever live podcast recorded with a virtual audience.

0:31.0	because this is the second time we've done the interview yeah that's right
0:34.1	can you talk a little bit about your background and how you started out as an artist
0:40.0	because I think your story is I'm impressed by your story that's all I have to say.
0:44.6	Oh really? I started doing art pretty young I mostly was kind of making my own
0:52.3	toys out of clay.
0:53.6	Used to have like oven-bake sculpy,
0:55.7	so I would do a lot of little animal figurines.

1:01.1	And then I also had some classes and I guess I didn't really get like
1:06.8	super serious until I was about 12 or 15 and I was when I was 15 I
1:10.9	decided to go to the school in Italy and learn Renaissance and at least I thought Renaissance techniques
1:16.4	would have turned out to be more of a 19th century school which I
1:19.3	didn't really know much about back then but that was really informative for me and yeah I used to read a lot of like artist biographies and I kind of wanted to model myself I guess off of like Michaelangelo or Devonshi those were my heroes back then.
1:34.6	You went to Florence right when you were 15?
1:37.4	17 yeah but that was kind of like when I like decided like that's what I want to do.
